If you do not agree with this Policy, please discontinue use of the Site.

1) Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

  • Contact details: when you submit a form or email us (e.g., first and last name, email address).
  • User-generated content: the content of messages you send via our contact form.

We do not ask users to create accounts, and we do not collect payment information on the Site.

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you access the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • Log and usage data (IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps).
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).

1.3 Information from third parties

  • Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand aggregated usage and improve the Site.
  • Advertising & affiliate partners (e.g., future Google Ads and Amazon Associates), which may set or read cookies for ad delivery, measurement, and attribution.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (see Section 12).

2) Purposes of Processing

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Site and its content;
  • Respond to messages and inquiries;
  • Analyze Site performance and learn what content is useful;
  • Prevent fraud, secure the Site, and enforce policies;
  • Comply with legal obligations;
  • Advertising & affiliate: measure ad performance, attribute affiliate referrals (e.g., to Amazon), and—where enabled—deliver or tailor ads (see Section 5).

We will not use personal information for materially different purposes without notice and, where required, your consent.

3) Legal Bases (GDPR/EEA users)

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following lawful bases:

  • Consent (where required for cookies/analytics/ads in your region);
  • Legal obligation (compliance, record keeping).

4) Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use:

  • Cookies and web beacons for essential functionality, analytics, affiliate attribution, and (if enabled) ads personalization;
  • Session technologies to operate forms and basic site functions.

You can control cookies in your browser settings and (where provided) through our cookie controls. Disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality.

Types of cookies we may use:

  • Strictly necessary (security, load balancing, form submissions);
  • Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand traffic and performance in aggregate;
  • Advertising/affiliate (e.g., Google Ads; Amazon Associates link attribution) to measure conversions and, where enabled, personalize ads.

5) Advertising, Remarketing & Affiliate Disclosure

We may display advertising (e.g., Google Ads) and use remarketing services that rely on cookies or device identifiers to show ads based on your visits to this Site or others.

We also participate in affiliate programs (e.g., Amazon Associates). This means our pages may include links that generate a commission when you make a purchase on a third-party site. Pricing and availability are determined by the third party. Affiliate partners may use cookies to attribute referrals.

8) Do Not Track (CalOPPA)

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals. We currently do not respond to DNT signals. We will update this Policy if such a standard is adopted.

9) Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with:

  • Service providers (hosting, security, analytics, advertising/affiliate measurement) bound by contractual confidentiality;
  • Legal/Compliance recipients where required by law, to protect rights, safety, or prevent fraud;
  • Business transfers (e.g., merger or asset sale) – your information may be transferred subject to this Policy.

10) Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes outlined in this Policy, including:

  • Contact form messages: for as long as needed to handle the request and reasonable record-keeping;
  • Analytics data: per provider default/controls;
  • Cookies/advertising identifiers: per their set lifetime or until you clear them or opt out.

When data is no longer necessary, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or aggregate it.

11) Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information (e.g., HTTPS, least-privilege access, platform security updates). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

12) Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13) International Transfers

We operate globally. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) and service-provider commitments.

14) Your Rights & Choices

Subject to limitations, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, portability, and to withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

14.2 California (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents may have rights to know categories/specific pieces of personal information collected, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing. We do not “sell” personal information as defined by CCPA/CPRA, nor do we process sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
